What is DutyNow?

DutyNow is an online journal seeking to reveal the truth of education in urban settings. Often, media clouds the truth of what takes place in inner-city schools, and as a result, students receive a bad name. The creator of DutyNow works in urban schools, and sees a different side of the story. DutyNow is an acronym, meaning Discrimination Unveiled Towards Youth NOW! The acronym sums up the mission-bringing truth to the table, so all children can receive a fair education. This online journal is part of a public history outreach. A conversation needs to begin, and it takes everyone to start it! Hopefully, this will get the ball rolling on such a crucial topic! Moreover, DutyNow is expanding its campaign to include issues related to lgbtq educators and educational administrators. DutyNow is THE voice for those who are often silenced!
What can you do to help?
DutyNow asks you to check your personal beliefs, and submit your opinion, and contact us with any information which will help this cause. Our Youth Begins with YOU...it will take all of us to change the face of education. DutyNow thanks you in advance!
